DVDs: The best form of home entertainment
These are the DVDs that I own. I would probably have more, except my brother has most of the DVDs that I want, so I just borrow them from him. Click on the picture for a link to buy it.

Jurrasic Park
The Collector's Edition

The only reason this movie isn't on the "My Favorite DVDs" page is because of the lack of special features. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THIS MOVIE, but the lack of special features puts it on the "Other" page. It has some behind-the-scenes thangs and some stills, but this is still a MUST HAVE DVD for any fan of Steven Spielburg.
X-Men
Probably one of the best "comic" movies made in the last decade (which isn't saying much), X-Men shows us a more down-to-earth version of everyone's favorite mutants. With features like behind-the-scenes specials, cool menus and a couple of hidden easter eggs, this is a mighty fine DVD. BUT (there's always a but), director Brian Singer (who also directed The Usual Suspects) wants to release ANOTHER version of the X-Men DVD with MORE extras AND a commentary. It's good because, well, it's more stuff about the movie. But it's bad because now I have to buy another copy. Oh well.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
A great movie in the first place, this is a must-have for any comedy fan. It doesn't really have any extras, but hey, it's Monty Python!
The Right Stuff
Just for the record, this is my Dad's DVD. It;s a good movie, don't get me wrong, but I probably would never buy it. If you don't know, it's about the initial tests of space travel aircraft and the first flight into space by a human. If you like airplanes, then this is a must-have.
Ghostbusters
Ghostbusters is a good movie in its own respect, but the DVD is great. Along witha great commentary with the director Reitman and star Ramis, it has really cool animated menus. If you liked the movie, you'll REALLY like this DVD.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
What can I say? It's a funny movie. I wanted a new DVD. I was low on cash. It was 12 bucks at Best Buy. Nuff said. This is an older DVD, so it has NO extras. But it's cheap, so you don't have extras in mind when you buy it. Plus it's just SO FUNNY!

Mystery Men
MANY of you may not agree with me, but I think Mystery Men is one of the best "comic" movies ever made. It's pretty much about the "comic" world making fun of itself. With a cast the likes of Ben Stiller, William H. Macy, Janeane Garofalo, Hank Azaria and Pee-Wee Herman, how can you beat it? Deleted scenes and a behind-the-scenes thang are also here, so pick yourself up a copy. I think you'll enjoy it.
The Sixth Sense
What do you get when you mix together a visionary director, a good kid actor, an original story, great dialogue, a creepy menu and Bruce Willis with hair? The Sixth Sense, that's what! Boasting an "Extended Ending" helped the initial sales of this DVD, but then the public figured out how stupid this so-called "Extended Ending" really is. It's just slightly extended. You see a little, A LITTLE bit more of his wedding video, then it ends. It really stinks. But, otherwise, it's a good DVD. There's a behind-the-scenes thang and some deleted scenes. It's also just a good movie.
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Man, what a great movie! The rest of my family doesn't agree, but I think this is a wonderful movie and should be seen by all fans of the cinema. I don't usaully look at things from a "good or bad" stand point, but I now see things from a directorial stand point. The direction is fantastic, and the cinematography is AMAZING! There is a short segment about how they changed the color of each shot, and it is VERY interesting. With a great soundtrack and hilarious diologue, it's hard to beat this movie.
